At a glance
- Personal data collected: none.
- Data shared with anyone, or sold: none, never.
- Where your list lives: only in the app's own storage on your phone.
- Account, analytics, advertising, tracking, cloud sync: none of them.
Who is responsible
SubFinito is made and published by Halimic, an individual developer. For anything about privacy, write to kera.halimic@gmail.com.
What SubFinito stores
Only what you type in, plus your settings: the names, prices, renewal dates, categories and billing periods of your subscriptions, how often you say you use them, an optional note about the account you signed up with, an optional name of the person you pay for, your currency and reminder choices, and the choices you make in Settings. It is all kept in the app's own private storage on your phone. There is no account and no server, so nothing about it is held anywhere else.
What leaves your phone
The app does not send your data anywhere. The only times anything leaves the app are the ones you start yourself:
- "Go cancel it" and Google Play's subscriptions page. These open another company's page in your browser. From that point you are on their website, under their privacy policy, not in SubFinito. SubFinito does not tell them anything about you.
- Sharing a picture or exporting a backup. Your phone's own share screen opens and you choose where the file goes. SubFinito does not send it anywhere itself.
- Importing a file. If you choose a bank file to import, it is read on your phone and is never uploaded.
Permissions the app asks for
- Notifications: to show your renewal and trial reminders. They are created and shown by your phone, not sent from anywhere.
- Run at start-up and keep the phone awake briefly: so reminders you set are scheduled again after the phone restarts and can appear on time.
- Vibration: a short buzz when you cancel something.
- Internet access: the app does not use it to send or collect your data. The permission is part of the web technology the app is built on.
SubFinito does not ask for your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos or accounts.
Other companies
The app has no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking software from any company. Google Play, which distributes the app, gives the developer overall figures such as installs and star ratings, and shows any review you choose to write. That is under Google's own privacy policy, and it contains nothing from inside the app.
How long data is kept, and deleting it
Your data stays on your phone until you remove it. You can delete everything with Delete all my data in Settings, or by uninstalling the app. There is no copy anywhere else, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. A backup file you exported yourself is yours to keep or delete.
Security
Because your list never leaves the phone, there is nothing to leak from a server. The app keeps your list in its own private storage, which other apps cannot read. If you share or export a file, the file is as private as wherever you put it.
Your rights
Since SubFinito holds no personal data about you, there is nothing to request, correct or erase on our side. If you have a question or a concern, write to the address above.
Children
SubFinito is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from anyone, of any age.
